We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Wonder of wonders that the intrepid journalists that are so beloved of themselves have not been able to find out who that heavy black guy is. They most certainly would have committed real and actual investigative journalism to find out that fact if this had happened to Richard Nixon.

Pneumonia supposedly diagnosed on Friday but wasn't included in the explanation for her catatonic collapse until the go-to lie of 'dehydration' (in use since her fall and concussion several years ago) due to the 'heat' of a comfortable early autumn morning wouldn't even convince the operatives with by-lines. Not a medical professional but it seems highly unlikely that if she was impacted to such degree that she passed out from upper respiratory problems that she could recover in the matter of an hour or two. And claims that she's exhausted by her campaign schedule don't fly either. Eleven events (mostly fund raisers) in the month of August. Trump, who is older, does nearly one a day, and when he visited Pena he participated in the news conference in the morning and then gave a speech at a rally that night without appearing to suffer any ill effects.
She's got a neurologic or heart condition that she and her handlers thought they had under control but the secondary symptoms and side effects from her medications are being enhanced by the stress of the campaign, and the condition itself might be progressing more rapidly than expected. I'm betting right now there is an intense debate going on if they should risk putting her on a debate stage (the next time they have to put her out in public without being able to tightly control her schedule and how long she is visible) or if they could weather the storm of canceling the debates and still win, figuring that at least 47% of the population would vote for her even if her last campaign appearance was in a coffin.
Well, I remember in 2008 they were saying this was do-or-die time for Hillary - if she lost to Obama she wouldn't very well be able to run against him in 2012 and by 2016 she'd be too old to run. Yet here we are - and Trump's no spring chicken himself. It sure would be something historical if neither one of the major-party candidates made it to the election. (Note: I'm being polite and neutral and merely commenting on the historical nature of the event, I'm in no way suggesting I would be less than sad and disappointed to see either or both of them suffer debilitating brain aneurysms. Soon.)
Very interesting. It sure seems plausible. It's even more interesting that he mentioned pneumonia which she has just recently admitted she has.
The "Keep talking" bit was odd.
That wasn't nearly as odd as the look on her face when she and Bill on the stage of the convention or when she was talking with reporters. The faces and gyrations she makes are grotesque.
No masked faces. No real tremor. Dyskinesias are either there or not. There when on meds or akinesia when not on meds. The speaker implies end stage Parki symptoms but she seems to function well most of the time. Today was the first time I thought there may be some truth to this. She had that shuffling gate and trouble starting to step very prominent. I would like to have heard where on the UPDRS he would put her-but it seems this was just a wedge piece to get people talking.
The head bobble was quite obvious during parts of the recent Forum and you could see her trying to control it.
But what happened today lwas worse as you see her head jerking up and down like happened in a couple of the other episodes they have laughed off and she seemed like she was unconscious by they threw her in her Scooby ambulance. She started out propped up against the bollard, she doesn't seem like she knows what's going on even at that point
There is something 'not right' with Hillary's health and I need more information. Up until yesterday I had simply been ignoring the right-wing media claims about Hillary's health status. I just assumed that it was BS. However I have watched that clip five times now, and this is something far more serious and long-term than pneumonia.
Hillary appears to be paralyzed when the van moves up; then she responds but almost falls backwards twice, hard; then her staff simply grab her and push her into the van with her feet dragging. Something metal falls out of her right pant leg at the end.
This crowd is much to polite. This is a hell of an opportunity to show Hillary that you are all deplorables.
Let's be clear. She considers most if not all of you to be ...........(fill in the blank............)so don't be so polite and kind.
The only thing that matters to Hillary, is that she is the first woman president. If she dies the next day, she will die happy. I think that she will 'bow' out or be removed because of her failing health. At that time (and a plan has been made) Obama and his idiot Liberals supporters, will call for him having a third term.
