Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Trump obviously does not want the job

He likes being a free-wheeling colorful character who says whatever he feels like at the moment regardless of information or tact. Many jobs would be fine for that, but not this one. This one requires some prep, some discipline, and some organization.  Something is going on with Donald Trump.


Trump has been right about many issues, but let's just call this a big mistake and bring on Pence, please.  He is the real deal and Trump seems to be begging to be thrown off the ticket. With too many, Clinton is a default vote. Almost nobody except grey hair feminists on the Upper West Side are eager to vote for her. Because, vagina.

Another confusing post. What do you call two rallies a day 5 days a week? Coasting? Pretending to care? Phoning it in? I am not sure what else he should be doing. Trump is calling into news programs between rallies. Just saw a 30 minute interview with CNBC he did this week. More on other networks.

Every rally he goes over Obama's failings, Hillary's bad record, the horror of Obamacare, the bad trade deals, the $400M that went to Iran, etc.

My goodness. Get a grip. I am thinking that everyone is watching the 2-second clip on ABC and not researching for themselves. Go to Right Side Broadcasting. You can watch pretty much EVERY event on there.

I watched/listened to the one yesterday with the coal miners. It was fantastic. Same with the meeting today with the homebuilders group. The, I also watched half of last night's rally.

The clips they show on tv are atrocious. They pick the vaguest moments and never show him talking in PLAIN FACTS about Hillary. ARGH.

Come on, do some research here...

Can't vouch personally, but heard from people that attended rally in Windham NH over weekend, that it was another overflow crowd.

I think the crticism, du jour, is over the lack of a ground game. Trump is too reliant on his voters just turning out.

It's all about the "click bait" and your media types are always frenetically looking for a "new" angle. Since so much of the low hanging fruit, that speaks to any kind of recognizable reality does not get attention, the pressure is on to be more melodramatic and outrageous, even if events have to be cherry picked, fabricated, contrived(ie baiting public figures). It is not for nothing that mass media is expert at deceptive reporting and editing of sound bites. As the public gets inured to the latest allegation, it has to be ramped up to ever more inflammatory claims and interpretations to generate attention and a response. It is geared to immature, soap opera women who crave melodrama; they have a deep need for something to handwring and cluck over.

Trump's finish second strategy seems to be working great so far, don't know why he would drop out. Nobody could run a campaign this badly unless it was on purpose.

DONALD TRUMP ON HUGH HEWITT’S RADIO SHOW: Good interview and worth reading. Note the exchange about Trump’s choice of words. Trump said that Obama founded ISIS and Hillary was the co-founder. Hewitt said he understood Trump’s point but Obama and Hillary “lost the peace” and created power vacuums which ISIS filled. They “didn’t create ISIS.” Hewitt encouraged Trump to use other language.

DT: But they wouldn’t talk about your language, and they do talk about my language, right?
HH: Well, good point. Good point…

People think these are Trump 'stumbles,' but they are not. MOST of us see Obama/Hillary as the 'founders' of ISIS because not only did they let Iraq go with zero support when he got into office, they helped ISIS in Syria long ago and gave them weapons, and then when ISIS really got going, they did nothing to stop them.

The average American citizen gets it and agrees with it. It gets plays all over the news. The press thinks they are winning over Trump, but they are just getting the message out that Obama and Hillary are involved in ISIS. End of story.
