Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Do you have coyotes? They kill up to 70% of the fawns here in the southeast according to our state's dept of natural resources.

When the wolves finish send them south. Our crop of long legged rats is exploding.

I would love to see this, just so the NE gets a taste of their own medicine. They have been pressing these stupid ideas on people in the West without realizing the harm. And can you imagine wolves in a more highly populated area of the U.S.? Say goodbye to Fido and Kitty.

The best solution is: expand hunting season. Give out more tags and multiples to each hunter. Have your game wardens do culling at certain times and donate the meat to charitable organizations.

Wolves is not the answer.

I'd much rather have hunters, even in cities (use bows). With wolves around I'd be afraid to let children play outside.
