We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

So certain that their god wants them to do this. Maybe that is what their god wants. Gods do not tend to be like kindergarten teachers. Neither is mine, but mine demands "Do unto others..." which is an extremely challenging and unnatural demand.

Was it an SUV? We know those are evil. Jihadists are driving vehicles with high CO2 admissions and bad gas mileage. That must be the problem.

Does anyone know if the truck had a manual transmission?

Or was it one of those automatics?

I hear that automatics are much more dangerous than semi-automatics.....and no one should be allowed to have them.

Oh I believe it would enhance recruiting. Suicide attacks are a loser's tactics.

Self driving cars and trucks have the potential to be a huge force multiplier for them. The possibilities, for tactics, payloads and targets are mind boggling. Recruitment will follow with success. Young men will coalesce around the strong horse.

I hope our ruling masters have a plan to thwart the self driving bomb though formulating such a plan may cut into their spare time.
