Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Syrian refugees are cover for ISIS soldiers! Really! Who could have possibly seen that coming? Certainly our president is unaware of this because he is accelerating the refugee program and not vetting them. Surely this is some bureaucratic mixup, a mistake, an oversight. Surely any moment now esteemed leader will be on TV explaining how this happened and what steps he will take to protect the homeland.
Oh by the way did our open and transparent government tell us that these refugees would have serious communicable diseases too? They have sent refugees and even non-refugees into communities all over our country with TB, cholera, jaundice, malaria, hepatitis and intestinal parasites. All of the refugees are supposed to receive a comprehensive health evaluation so that patients with communicable diseases can be identified, quarantined and treated. But they are placing these deadly human petri dishes in our communities without treatment and without notice. So why would they do that? Perhaps an Ellis Island is needed here. But why would our government release seriously ill refugees and illegal aliens into the general population with no warning? I'm stumped! I can't even think of a viable left wing Marxist/communist purpose in this subterfuge. How many of our citizens have already succumbed to this government malpractice? That too it seems is secret. Where is the "free press" on this? What are you worried about, Gone? Don't you know it's not the Syrian refugees and radical Islamists who ween need to worry about. It's Christians and right wing extremists. They're the haters because they don't believe in gay marriage and men in women's bathrooms or they're irrationally upset because the government is regulating their lifestyle and livelihood away.
As our fearless leader said, the Orlando shootings tell us that WE need to change. Re: Joe Manchin laments Fifth Amendment
It will be interesting to see how Manchin does this November. I think West (By God) Virginia is a lot more conservative than when he was elected and he seems to have gotten a lot more leftist. QUOTE: West (By God) Virginia ROFLMAO Mrs feeblemind ALWAYS refers to WV that way. I thought she was the only one that did. On some level mudbug, you and my wife must be kindred spirits. :-)
Mrs. Mudbug spent many years in Northern Virginia and new about how it should be referred to. Our next door neighbor was also from West (by God) Virginia. I've never been there, but I've educated on its proper name! Approx 1:20:00 video about voting machine irregularities.

I guess now we know why the American universities did nothing to note the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta last year. It's so last millennia. QUOTE: Then we come to chapter 39 [Magna Carta], the great "Liberty" statute. "No freeman shall be taken or imprisoned or be disseised of his freehold or his liberties or his free custom [these important words added in 1217] or be outlawed or exiled or otherwise destroyed but by lawful judgment of his peers, or by the law of the land." Bird Dog, re the American Digest Images, I get it that it's likely the same guy in both images. What I don't get is how do we know he's in Greece on the way to the US? I assume there is a factual basis for the assertion and that it has been reported to the Feds. In any event I would like to see links to the facts. American Digest does not appear to provide substantiation
The pantywaste who shot the AR15 and said it bruised him? Geez. If you are an adult male and can't shoot an AR15 without being bruised, you really should think about some strength training...well that and a firearms instructor to help you hold it properly. I can't imagine an AR15 bruising you unless you were either doing it wrong or shot about a thousand rounds.
They are louder than you would expect, but if you have ear protection and aren't firing in an enclosed space your ears must be the most sensitive ears in the country. Man up. And if that doesn't work for you, at least stop whining about it. None of us want to know what a wuss you are. Yes, I realize he wanted to paint AR15s as the Devil's Rifle and was trying to make it sound like the most horrible thing on the planet. |
