The females of our species are wired to seek out a high status male, with whom they build a life-long bond. From the point of view of nature, this guarantees the greatest chance of reproductive success. Since it is vastly easier for a young adult female to land a suitable mate than it is for a middle-aged female, getting married early makes the most sense. Sure, the man could be a dud, but there are no guarantees in life.

This reductionist bullshit follows the great inversion: Rightists adopting the odd Darwinian Nihilism flowing from the fanciful Big Bangist Science! of Evolution that short-circuit Minds and with it, human transcendence. It's not in your head anymore, your identity and your will, but in your genes and your jeans.

Remarkable how un-thought the rote acceptance of this crap is, especially from ostensibly conservative, traditionalist organs whose general mindset all but universally hews, if only tacitly, to themes about personal awareness and responsibility, classic social mores and accountability, intellectual gender equality within a righteous ethics matrix, and especially the great abstracts of love and idealism specifically aimed at celebrating gender differences while maintaining durable frameworks expressly designed to partner them in a greater, idealized whole.

"And the two shall become one" had once been a calling card for what's been set aside today in favor of biological fatalism, simple bargaining, and the depravity of the conditional, opportunistic, physicalized hook-up. They're in it to procreate like it's all they're capable of grasping.

But as goes trendy rightism so goes the need to be seen as Scientifically! fashionable, in step, with-the-times, and generally hipper than the puritanical socialism currently sweeping the progressive left, with its enormous load of inescapable, intolerant, socially moral, sexist, genderist baggage. Rightist biological fatalism must proudly oppose the social progressive left, even if it means abandoning reason and thought or co-opting a portion of what it thinks it resists.

So here come our rightists, intent on seeing themselves as more progressive, liberal, and open-minded, and off they go into this bizarre, vaguely Darwinian neofatalism where men are instinctual, sperm-spraying automatons and women are striving, opportunistic, fertile Valkyries, together to stride off and forge paganistic social frameworks based on fertility signalling and rites, survivalism, and purely instinctive pecking orders. Conservatives indulge this biological Nihilism, even using it to lifestyle-signal their relaxed new worldliness. We're not nearly as uptight as we used to be, see?

It is bullshit, of course, and purveyors like this Z-Man, whatever it is, have bought into it as surely as that associated, arrogant closed-mindedness drips from the page with it. It's all the rage; the hip new thing embraced by toughguys and the surly, sexualized womenfolk hung from their gunbelts and handlebars. Here, everybody's in it for something and it sure ain't gonna be unfashionable.

Back up-blog one is reminded of the Great Marriage of carnism, political conservativism, body-sculpting, Catholic theology, day-trading, and semi-nude pics of someone's daughters. Like God intended for America.

Yeah, but Texan, if we're going to adopt all the wonderful Sciencey! truths of the Six Days of the Big Bang, the trend a trendy God intended for 21st Century rightist lifestyling church-goers, then we have to accept that we're just biological predeterminists lacking free will except to pump iron Harleys, drown deserving animals in tangy sauces, and worship at the 70" LED throne of the 'Merican lifestyle. Call it the evolved Xtian believer in a works-by-salvation theological paradigm, the very height of spiritual pleasure.

From there it's just a small step to chicks-dig-alphas, God's Plan writ as large and self-evident as righteous consumerism and goodly holy sarging the congregated faithful with attractive muscle groups. With good clean cultural conservationalism like that, who needs Xtian humility or that dodgy old "new heavens and a new earth" at the "end of days" and whatnot. Onward biologically-hardwired Christian domination and sly looks!

Not anti-Christian, Texas, anti-psuedo Christian. Anti-rightist, anti-lifestyling, anti-socially narcissistic, anti-social-signalling, anti-clique Xtians, who from my experience, haven't as much to recommend themselves to Christianity and vice versa as to phariseeism.
