We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
We claim to be Centrist in outlook - not "moderate," whatever that means. Your Editor in Chief, pictured on right, took this highly-reliable political-orientation test and came out "Centrist." That is good proof. But if we come out "centrist," then who the heck comes out "conservative"?
Or has the "center" moved a bit, over the past few years?
Take the test and find out what you are.
And stop pushing the button below that photo. The video is disabled. What do you think we are?
Any individual or any group of individuals who seek to preserve the principles expressed in the Declaration of Independence and The Constitution is a Centrist.
The terms Left and Right were devised by collectivists (anti-individuals) of the left, Marxists, and the right, fascists, to negate the value and standing of the Individual as a political force. "Only numbers have value" to collectivists.
It is an I.Q. Test since there are only individuals. Plural forms are merely verbal conveniences. Not Reality.
Those who conserve the principles and spirit of '76 are Centrist. Me too.
