Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Re: coydogwolves
When I was a boy in rural Massachusetts back in the 50's, coydogs were a stable of rural conversation. I believe the New Hampshire novelist Ernest Hebert mentions them in one of his novels. Stanley Gehrt at Ohio State says there are 2,000 or so "coyotes" living in downtown Chicago. I don't know if he has DNA sequenced them yet. My family had a coy-dog for some months in NE in the '60s. It died of some unidentified fever.
Shouldn't that be indigenous Swedish female journalist? The Muslims were likely Swedish also...now.
Nearly EVERY Eighth-Grader in Detroit Public Schools Not Proficient in Math, Reading
The real crime of this is that the students and parents consider that the students are being "educated" just like student at all the other schools in the country. The great "lie" in education is that the attendance to the schools, supposedly meeting some educational standard, means one is becoming educated. The internet has revealed this lie but parents and so-called educators ignore it in favor of the day-prison purpose of schools. There are two problems with inner city schools:
1 The schools fail to maintain a learning environment and the students are distracted, disobedient and don't pay attention to the school work. 2 The teachers are selected for their diversity and willingness to work in such a crappy environment and are barely more intelligent than their students. Many of them shouldn't have graduated from college and are a product of the search for greater diversity. Detroit is an experiment in controlling a social group where the inmates residents are given education and other challenges at their level.
One goal: cultivate and grow a population suited for the task of Welfare, food stamps, EBT cards. See where the system can be streamlined, i.e. made to work for less money. figure the youth upon reaching majority will be entered into the system. Another goal, planned abortions from registered breeders and the fetuses harvested through Planned Parenthood for retail sale. Another goal, drug trials to see which tranquilizers and opioids best keep the population content. Soma. About those coyotes: down around my place they breed wolves with dogs, the results are a sturdy stock dog. We have wild dogs, runaways and abandoned, no reason they wouldn't breed with coyotes. . A few years ago, a friend who owns a female German Shepard and a fenced-in backyard came outside early one evening because of a strange sound.
Turns out it was a coyote standing on its back legs with its front paws resting on the top of the fence. The coyote was having some kind of ongoing conversation with the German Shepard making kind of a soft yodeling sound, not confrontational at all. It was pretty clear to my friend that the coyote was inviting his dog to jump the fence and join their coyote world. My friend decided to decline the invitation on his dog's behalf and brought her inside. So yeah, it's believable to me that coyotes are interbreeding. Very believable. :-) ...Kentucky 'Drone Slayer' ....
