Update on the European invasion: "gullible sissies"

From Europe Gets Borders - Hungary’s Orbán cancels Merkel’s invitation:

The big danger ever since this migration got underway is that it would get stopped up somewhere. The day after Germany closed its border with Austria, there were 20,000 migrants stuck in the Austrian villages of Nickelsdorf and Heiligenkreuz. And the further south you go, the fewer resources residents have to give the travelers a welcome. The migrants are largely young men from rough, tough parts of the Muslim world. There is now a queue of them that stretches all the way east to Bangladesh and beyond, and deep down into sub-Saharan Africa. People have sold cattle, abandoned houses, robbed employers, left wives and children, and burned all sorts of bridges to come. There are now hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of them. Many are war-hardened. They are looking for money, food, and female companionship, and they are convinced that Europeans are gullible sissies.

This is where Frau Merkel’s Willkommenskultur has led: With the impending closure of the Croatian border, hundreds of thousands of young Muslim men are about to hit a brick wall in Serbia. Serbia!

Heiligenkreuz? How inconsiderate and offensive. They should consider changing that name right away.

@ forest. Good pickup. In a few decades it will not be a joke, however, but prescience.

Americans with actual memories may remember what happened in 1993, when Bill Clinton took office after excoriating Bush 41 for turning back Haitians in makeshift boats, saying he would never do anything so cruel. So thousands of Haitians took him at his word and took to the sea. Without much fanfare, and quickly glossed over by a press giddy at having one of their own in the WH (finally!), we did turn them back.

But not before many had died. We had a sponsored child in Haiti at the time, and one of those who died was his father. So we continue to remember.

As to the situation in Europe, this is looking very historical, isn't it? A thousand years of repeated invasions of Europe, with the fighting being done in Italy and the Balkans (Pope John X led troops against the invasion personally), left to hold the bag protecting Western Europe. 332 years ago, the invaders were turned back at Vienna. The Crusades were merely the intermittent 50 years when Western Europe went on offense. Serbs, Bulgarians, Romanians, Hungarians - they remember.

There mistake(s) is to try to deal with this as an "immigration" issue. It is not. This is an invasion and the police and politicians will be powerless to stop it. It requires the military. Give them rubber bullets if you must but rifles, handcuffs and a speedy return from where ever they came from is the only proper answer to this problem. The longer they wait to implement this the worse the outcome will be for all. If your first priority is to "help" them than round them up, and send them home. This will deter the many millions of others who would follow. Sooner or later guns will be required to correct this failure of the politicians, better now because soon the invaders will be armed.

European governments have been strong on not allowing their people to have guns. Muslims will know a guy who knows a guy who has AKs and pistols in wholesale lots.

Sounds like Hungary is making a weak effort to stave off national suicide, but at least it is a start.

"Hungary's parliament authorized the government on Monday to deploy the army to help handle a wave of migrants, granting the military the right to use non-lethal force.

It passed a law saying the army could use rubber bullets, pyrotechnical devices, tear gas grenades or net guns, according to the text posted on parliament's website."

What will happen when the central governments of these European countries decide that they aren't going to do anything to protect the border towns? Just leave the local villagers to their own defenses?

And this is why I am glad that we, in the US, have a 2nd Amendment.

And here in America with the Second Amendment if a private citizen squeezes off a shot at a 'illegal colonizationist' then the whole weight of the Federal Government will come down on them.

Or if a Illegal 'claims' to have been struck or frightened by someone who prevents their illegal entry then that American citizens home and property can be taken away and given to those persons here illegally.

Just sending them back to Turkey would also destabilize the Erdogon regime there, serving dual purposes.

Merkel did a remarkably stupid thing in issuing an invitation. Now here government has banned protests by Germans AGAINST her policy.

This will not end well for the Merkel government. Let's hope it is promptly replaced by one with a wiser leader.
