"differences of the sexes". I would challenge anyone who claims gender differences are made up by society to try herding a bull the same way they would herd a cow.

This amazes me about feminists and other 'progressive' types, who think of themselves as modern and scientific: walk down the hall to the biology department. We are MAMMALS, we are PRIMATES. Millions of years of mammalian evolution have shaped the core behaviors of males and females to optimize their genetic success. With the more complex social structure of primates, additions were made to these behaviors ... til humans (with the young being helpless for an extremely long period of time) additional modifications were selected as part of our survival mechanisms. Yet some of the older behaviors still exist deep in our brains and affect us as well (such as why men are much more likely to be promiscuous).

Virtually EVERY aspect of our gender differences can be traced back to natural selection working on our mammalian and primate ancestors. From that perspective, it all (both things that don't fit into current ideological fads) makes profound sense.

Societies, by and large was built around biology (though there are some aberrant societies) not the other way around.

Paid sick leave: Obama issues executive order Again.

Back in August, an Federal Contractor Assoc. sent a letter to the Obama White House.

So how much will that cost us? First, any new contracts that are bid will be more complicated for the contractor to estimate their costs. But those costs will go up and if costs go up the government pays more. How much more (on average?), does anyone really know? USA Today had a story in March;

For one Obama EO on Federal civilivan workers getting a 1% raise that worked out to 2.5 billion (lots of them little federal worker ants, lots.) Then Congress had to authorize the extra cash in the budgets for those departments. If one budgeted department couldn't or didn't get their budget increased, then some of the workers would have to be laid off. Counting the unemployment benefits how much did the EO cost? No one knows.

In the August contractor letter story, one (Industry) source says; By some estimates, it says, 30 cents out of every contracting dollar is spent on complying with government regulations. There is little to show for that effort, it suggested. The funny thing is, the banking industry has been saying the same thing. Lots of extra costs going to compliance, no real benefits in return. But we get to hire lots of new federal civilian workers (with a 1% raise!) and of course they need a hierarchy of appointed managers, and so on never-ending.

It seems to me that Executive Orders are a very poor way to steer the Ship of State, if you never know what the effect or the cost will be. It's almost as if someone thinks there is a prize to be awarded for the most money spent and wasted!

How soon one forgets that cultures clash and attempts to mix them have consequences. When Libyan troops were brought to the UK for training, men AND women in the community were terrorized with multiple crimes including rape. Naturally, the Libyans blamed the Brits for not explaining their laws and "the difference between right and wrong here."

But the law, or at least what the Progs want as law, says you can't explain White man's laws to minorities or the difference between right and wrong because right and wrong is subjective. Stop your White privileging.

The Left has told us, again and again, that non-White, non-heterosexuals and non-males just can't grasp White cis-gendered, heterosexual male culture, even if it did create the modern world, cultivate individual liberties and free women and non-Whites from subjugation.

If they wait too long to stop/fix this problem it will be too late. The only proper response to illegal immigration is to first declare your intent that no one coming into the country illegally will be allowed to stay and then to put them into prisons until they can be sent back to where ever they came from. No exceptions.

You know the Progressive leaders will never do that. It is totally against what they believe and preach and it would invalidate their sense of how the world should be. The crushing burden of debt, the crime, the rapes and disease will continue to be explained away or denied.

They are willing to spend every last dollar of your money and sacrifice the lives of every single native born citizen without admitting defeat.

Close your eyes, now imagine ISIS in the British Museum with axes, sledgehammers and torches.
Open your eyes, see? Much better now.

I think that the various leaders of Western European countries are under estimating both the impact of their acquiescence to this "invasion" and the likely response of their citizens to it. Having said that I admit the response in the past has been timid at best but this has in part been because of the dishonesty of the media in failing to report the impact that immigration has had on the citizens. But it appears to me that the cat is out of the bag now with this massive and very public assault on Europe and everyone knows or can guess what the impact will be. Once these new "immigrants" are given asylum and become eligible to send for their extended families a million border jumpers will turn into 20 million and all of them with their hands out for "free stuff". I know the Dutch and French people are very generous and welcoming but I think that when they fully understand who is going to have to pay for all this "free stuff" they may come to regret their welcoming attitude and rise up and storm city hall with pitch forks. I see no possible way that the good citizens of Europe are just going to take this lying down so the question is what will be their reaction and how bad will it get. So for reasons of personal and political survival my advice to the progressive leaders is to think this through. This invasion doesn't only threaten Europe's middle class it threatens their elite too. This whole mess would be relatively easy to fix right now but a year or two from now it might require a bloody revolt to reverse it.

Two Profs, TWO: It would seem that Salaita wouldn't be very likely to get into trouble teaching Native American studies, unless he got into the theories that they descended from the Twelve Lost Tribes of Israel.

Watching Europe Die: At what point are there too many "immigrants"? And they will know how to get AKs and pistols forbidden to the locals.

European invasions..

I see nothing unusual here. The continent emerged from prehistory with a celtic culture, then invaded by the Romans which evolved into a Gallo-Roman or British-Roman culture dominated by and loyal to Rome, then dealt with the settlement of germanic peoples at the invitation of Rome, then suffered germanic migration/invasion (laced with some Huns) which ended the Empire out of which evolved a European culture, now they're dealing with another invasion of islam pests. No doubt something new will emerge over time.

Not presuming to "extreme intelligence" but I will say being intelligent enough that I never had to take notes or study to get good grades in high school was pretty much the kiss of death when I got to college and needed to know how to do those things.
