We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Possibly true - but some of us do not have such short memories and will continue to boycott Government Motors. My current truck is a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado - before that, a GMC Yukon. But my next truck will be a Ford or a Toyota or Nissan.
By the way, check out Liberty Puzzles - wonderful intricate wooden puzzles, made in USA (nothing to do with politics.) TG
We had part of our kids' college fund in GM. It is basically an illegal company, based on illegal actions of the Obama administration. Another reason to tell today's Government Motors what it can do to itself.
We're proud Honda and Toyota owners. We will never buy another American piece of junk automobile.
We are also happy Toyota / Honda owners. Great products. High quality. Last forever. My Honda Pilot has almost 150,000 miles on it. No mechanical problems at all so far. Only maintenance and a bit of corrosion on the wheels from the hard winters where I live.
And you don't like the dorF F150 because? I bought one (2013) and have been quite satisfied. There are some very good deals right not on remaining 2014 models. And No I have never worked for Ford......
I've driven a chevy pickup most of my life. I'm driving my last now; a 2003 Silverado Z-71. The reasons are pro-union government motors rescue, poor quality, and poor service. Randy (#3) has the right attitude. Don't waste your money.
