We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Republicans know—they see it every day—that Republican candidates get grilled, sometimes impertinently, and pressed, sometimes brusquely. And it isn’t true that they’re only questioned in this way once they announce, Scott Walker has been treated like this also, and he has yet to announce. Republicans see this, and then they see that Mrs. Clinton isn’t grilled, is never forced to submit to anyone’s morning-show impertinence, is never the object of the snotty question or the sharp demand for information. She gets the glide. She waves at the crowds and the press and glides by. No one pushes. No one shouts the rude question or rolls out the carefully scripted set of studio inquiries meant to make the candidate squirm. She is treated like the queen of England, who also isn’t subjected to impertinent questions as she glides into and out of venues. But she is the queen. We are not supposed to have queens.
The country and perhaps the entire world will pay for this stupidity. Hillary is a grifter her only purpose in politics and public life is to enrich herself her friends and supporters. She has never been tested (she wasn't tested by Benghazi she was merely AWOL and could care less) and she will no doubt fail when the chips are down. That means the country will fail. The world has become a dangerous place in the last 6 years and arguably the last 25 years. I don't think China is going to hold off much longer they want more land, more power and to control the Pacific. Russia is inserting themselves into the Middle East and South America and are becoming more aggressive in Eastern Europe. Obama intends to open our borders and that will bankrupt our economy, destroy our health care system and probably provoke civil war/unrest. What will President Hillary do when any of this happens? She will make deals for billion dollar donations to her Swiss bank accounts.
As in Jonathan Haidt's research about the solidifying of opinions after they have been attacked, there is no new evidence that could come forward that would turn her core supporters against her. Everything that is brought forward is not interpreted as evidence that she is lying again, but only that her opponents are attacking her again. Anything that sticks is shrugged off as just politics as usual, even with no evidence that anyone else is doing it. She lies, they don't care. She destroys others, they don't care.
Let me note that even though comments about her being old and passe seem to have some political effect, I don't like that sort of campaigning, and I wish we wouldn't do it. We don't like it when President Selfie scores points with the young with his Usain Bolt pose, dancing with Ellen, or filling out a bracket, because hipness should be irrelevant. We should hold ourselves to that standard as well.
Yes, even when it's done cleverly, we should resist.

I agree with you AVI, about calling Hillary! old news, but I don't think I feel as strongly as you about it. I pretty much agree with you that people have already made up their mind about Hillary!, though I'm of the opinion that there aren't all that many who've cemented their opinions of her as most think. I've said it before but I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't get the nomination.
What I like about this video is that it uses laughter - I'd like to see more of it. When Obummer or Hillary! says something that doesn't even pass the smell test, too often we stand around and respectfully disagree, profess righteous indignation, or are stunned when people or the press take the comment seriously. Instead, we could laugh out loud in derisive laughter exposing the idiocy of what was said. Of course you have to be ready to cogently explain why what was said is so stupid but most times it becomes obvious just how stupid it is.
