Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

My best bets

Repubs: Rubio-Walker or vice versa


Dems: Bernie Sanders-Biden or Fauxcahontas - Mallory (Happy to lose that bet)

I'd like to see Jim Webb gather enough traction to at least affect the framing of the Democratic ticket. Liberals don't much like him, but they dislike losing more and may like the demographics he appeals to and want to keep at least some of them on board.

And frankly, even though I wouldn't vote for him, I could be relieved at a Webb presidency.

I like Rubio-Walker (or vise versa). Actually, I'd prefer Walker-Rubio since I like presidents who have actually run something.

Sanders-Biden would be really entertaining!!! Fauxcahontas-Mallory might be more likely. I don't know much about Mallory, but I would think that Sanders and Fauxcahontas would be a more alike. I don't think it will matter as I don't think a demoncrat will win, regardless.

I agree with AVI, although I wouldn't vote for Webb, he would be an improvement over the proposed or what we have now on the Dem side.
