We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Probably deer. In the summer when their diet contains a lot of moisture their scat can be soft clumps like this instead of pellets. If the general texture is amorphous and fully digested w/o any visible hair or seeds, that indicates an ungulate diet like that of a deer.
Are there currently any disputes between yourselves and your neighbors?
Did you stiff the pizza delivery guy (gal, undecided-didn't mean to be exclusionary)?
Your website is unique in many ways.
Way 1: I can't think of another website I frequent where they would show a pile of shit and ask where it came from. This is classic "stuff". LMAO
The power of caffeine has made apparent these are a series of pancaked-plops instead of the long spirals my lying eyes saw earlier. Still a petty big dump. No rhino around?
My first thought is ruminant also, ploppy from wet diet or parasites (or the hormones of giving birth). It strikes me as a large volume for a sheep. Do you get moose? Or maybe the pine cone isn't a very good indicator for scale? On second thought looking at the senicio and clover I'll agree with sheep.
Is there an Occupy Wall Street group in your area??? (Of course, they'd have to be in some sort of time warp, since it was only created to help Obama in 2012.)
I have no idea. I don't know S### about S###. This thread reminds me of the song Cow Patti. "Gotta watch your step when you know the chips are down."
When I was little, we had an Irish setter named Copper. For years, I assumed he had been named for his color. Turns out some wag named him Copper as an alternate form of coprolite, which I am informed is the term for fossilized feces.
I would say elk or possibly moose. #8 Smartdogs was on to something. When there's a lot of moisture in thier diet elk and moose scat looks like this. My second guess would boar or pig. Where geographically is this located? New England?
