We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I never, ever go to malls. That is I didn't until last summer, when we had a Swiss girl living with us for the summer on a summer program. She had never gone to a mall before (I guess malls are uncommon in Switzerland) and she loved it. Air conditioning. Lots of stores and lots of kids her age. So we went along several times just to make sure she was safe. I still hate malls.
I agree...Disneyworld blow. Disneyland is where you want to go. Everything is much closer together, so you don't have to walk as far. Also, you can easily stay outside of Disneyland and save tons of $$. There are many good motels/hotels within walking distance and restaurants, too. No need to pay the exorbitant Disney prices for everything.
Every kid should go to Disneyland at least once. We had a blast last summer and all of our kids were teens. It is much better run and much cleaner than any other amusement park in the U.S. Worth the extra cost.
There is so much MORE at Disney World. You can still stay off property just like Disney Land and Disney World has free transportation where ever you want to go.
I like to stay on property. Once I get on the Magical express bus from the airport I am on vacation. Once you are on Disney property you don't have to worry about anything. Disney World really is a World unto itself. Also in Disney Land you don't get EPCOT, my favorite! Love to tour the countries.
Let me right away pick up your own rss when i will not in finding your email request website link or even e-newsletter program. Are there any kind of? Generously let me personally realize so I really could signed up. Appreciate it.

I hate malls too. So depressing.
The very idea of either Disney joint is blood curdling. Ew.
I'm working in China and I LOVE the big malls here. There's a mall that's a 15 minute walk from my house with nice restaurants, friendly workers and shop owners, and a great gym with a half-olympic sized pool. It's just different here.
As usual, the big picture eludes most of you. Those deserted malls are the perfect place to hide out and hole up when the zombie apocalypse comes. Plenty of space for supplies, just nail up and secure the entrances.

I agree about Disneyworld. It's centrifugal bumblepuppy writ large, a sanitized fantasy for the masses who lack the impetus to go out and have their own travels and adventures.
