Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

The Washington Post has never heard of quarterly taxes

Ignorant.


Every small-to-medium-sized business in America pays quarterlies, as do all Maggie's Farmers. It's simple: you just write a check to the US Treasury, and they pay it to the Chinese as interest on our national debt.

Nothing surprising about the Obama cheerleader's ignorance. A bit disappointed in Drudge. He paid. He is not setting a good example for the tea party. Maybe some day, a real leader will emerge who will show them the way.

Just who the heck is telling these "journalism majors" that once they've got their degree they know everything? Why doesn't being an editor/manager require some years of experience?

It tells you how little most people know about all the responsibilities you have in running a business. They are the clueless elite.

#4, if they did, they would know how the cost of employer-provided health coverage has skyrocketed since Obamacare became law, especially if you coverage is better than the Obamacare minimums. In our company's case, by 76%. We recently just gave up and cut our employee coverage to the Obamacare minimums. Employees not happy, but we told them it was either that or start laying people off.
