Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

The first time I read about this I just didn't understand how having your paper marked up by the professor constitutes any racism. It still makes no sense. Just make sure you follow the guidelines better next time. That isn't that hard to do. That's why professors have office hours. You talk to him or her about presentation and what's expected. What the hell does race have to do with that?

You FOOL! Race (raaaaace!) has EVERYTHING (!) to do with it...or gender, in 50+% of the time. And place of origin, parentage, religion or lack of, baldness, fatness, skinnyness, lack or deformity of limbs of body parts...

Micro aggression is an idea from micro minds. If it doesn't make money or gain power for the practitioners, they'll be on to the next ridiculous idea.
