Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Missing Persons

I haven't seen them on milk cartons, but I wonder where Buddy Larsen and Dr. Merc disappeared to.

I think they'll show back up once they finish signing up for the new health insurance. Should be sometime in 2015, I'd say.

Last time I talked to Doc off line, he was selling his boat and trying to find some kind of full time employment rather than the self-employment he was doing. I wished him well, offered to help if I could and haven't heard word one since.

Don't know about Buddy - he's well and truly missed. I liked messing around with him - great sense of humor.

Yep, Buddy is the best. He can also put in some long hours on his ranch, ending up pretty tuckered at the end of the day.

And speaking of MIA, wonder to what new posting ol' Zach was reassigned.

The last I saw of the Z-Team , Dr. M. got the Z-Team all twisted into knots on AGW, pointing out contradictory statements from the Z-Team and such.

I surmise that the Z-Team retreated from the field to avoid any further embarrassments. Or maybe the Z-Team's superiors decided that the team would do more for the cause at a higher volume wingnut blog.

I heard Zach didn't do too well on his performance review at Organizing for Action, so he's been enrolled in a re-education camp for re-training in progressive values.
