We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. I thought that term was hurtful? I don't remember if it was hurtful to people with darker pigmented skin, those who are dieting, ugly sluts, or to people who couldn't find that Star Wars lunch box back in the '80s.

What was wrong is that is was a direct affront to the feminist narrative that all hetero sex is controlled by the woman (or women) and that rape is how ever the woman (or women) defines it at the time it occurred. Therefore, asking a question about two drunks making the beast with two backs is relevant because if the woman defines it as rape, or even as remotely related to rape as possible as defined at the time (or after when it might be as much regret as rape), then that is what it is and thus verboten to speak about by any male under any conditions at any time.

Not even close. More like a student of some sort, or, as they're called today, "an activist". There are so many outright falsehoods (who is "pumping liqufied organs into sewers" besides Dr. Gosnell?) that it's just unreadable...

A very large percentage of sex in the single community takes place after a few drinks. About 99.99% of that is consensual and the booze is used to "enhance" the experience (I think that means that the woman needed to be drunk to make the guy look good enough to go to bed with). It seems kind of silly to try to claim that any or all sex after a few drinks must be suspected of being rape.

As a comedian pointed out. There is a warning on the label about drinking while pregnant, which is ironic since many women got pregnant while drinking.

But the question is, if a woman is high, is it okay to have sex with her? I mean, we wouldn't want to judge people for smoking a little weed, would we?

Is it OK to sing karaoke when high? Is it OK to do anything at all when high. Is being high a universal excuse for anything and everything? My answer is that we are all responsible for our actions and getting drunk is not an excuse. Now if you had asked me if a woman is passed out is it OK to have sex with her I would say no, of course not. But "high"!

I think if a man and a woman who have been drinking have sex (let's say they are both high) then that is their personal choice, nothing more nothing less. If the next day or months later one of them decides it was a mistake that does not make it a crime. In fact I feel it should be a crime to try to blame others for your actions. Call it the "not Bush's fault" law.

I live in the metro Washington DC area and blacks kill each other continually in DC. It usually only rates a paragraph in the B section of the Washington Post unless it's a particularly gruesome crime.
