"The EPA covers up the safety of fracking". Did you really ever believe the EPA was about environmental protection? Come'on! It was always about special interest groups with their agendas. Ever since the EPA colluded/conspired with Rachel Carson they have been nothing more then a front group and official government funding office for the radical left wing environSocialist nut jobs. Little to no proof of a pesticide or chemical causing problems? No worries! The EPA is there to grease your law suit through a compliant court with left wing judges and big payouts from Uncle Sam. Ooops! Did I say Uncle Sam? Silly me I meant the tax payer, everyone knows uncle Sam has no money and is bankrupt. Rachel Carlson wrote a book mostly about her biases and left wing beliefs and William Ruckleshaus passed a ban on DDT that would end up killing more people then Lenin, Mao and Hitler combined. But does anyone even care because after all most of those deaths are poor black children in Africa? The "science" on DDT was twisted and massaged to get what the loony left wanted without regrad to the facts or real science. The connection and comparison with AGW is scary. How many people will the AGW scam kill? So what is the purpose of the EPA? Clearly one purpose is to kill young Africans. Another is to supply funding to far left envirowhackos. And a third and very important purpose is to distribute large chinks of tax money to select congressman's districts for EPA cleanup's. While most of the cleanup's were real, i.e. there was something there that needed to be cleaned up, most of the hype and scare mongering that created the need to spend those billion$ was not real. The real legacy of the EPA has been pseudo-science, wealth redistribution, kickbacks and payoffs. Look for more of the same on steriods if "cap and trade" or something similar passes.
