It is ironic. Some years ago the socialist Democrats in England decided to allow massive immigration of people who didn't want to assimilate and didn't want to be English. Now England is listed as too unsafe for travelers to visit. They have riots and murders stabbings and rape, small crime and big crime. All of this thanks to the inability for the liberal Socialist Democrats to understand simple human nature. Years later we can watch this happening in England and Sweden and yet our own Socialist Democrats want to rush headlong into destroying this country by giving amnesty to all the illegal immigrants who want to come here. They prefer to speak their own language, watch TV from their own country and to keep dual citizenships for the home country they continue to pledge allegience to. Why? Why are Socialist Democrats unable or unwilling to see what is so clear to everyone with an IQ above room temperature? Can they be this stupid or is it all intentional???

As Hillary said -- What difference does it make? Progressives need the crisis, division, prejudice, anger, fear, so they can grab power and control. they do not care what the little people do or need. your safety is not an concern of theirs.

Sears seriously needs to go out of business and has for the last 40 years. Their name brand product are crap. They make the US autos of the 1970s look good in comparison.

Perhaps I'm biased. Back in the '70s we had a Sears electric typewriter to do homework on. It was broke most of the time making every paper a crisis. Not having to type papers was a big influence on me going into engineering then physics rather than liberal arts. So that maybe I owe Sears some thanks.

But still, spin off the tools, burn the rest.

Hey, they used to replace tools :) I went through a number of socket wrench sockets, splitting one after the other, until I wised up and bought one of good quality.

IRS stage-managed, hmm. That would indicate that they felt they were doing something wrong. Or Obama was being betrayed by the cream of the Democratic party and his personally selected staff?

Who is running this government anyway?

Think about it. Had this been some rogue employees, then once discovered, once even the hint of an IG audit brought it to management's attention, the proper management defense would be to step on it hard and fast.

Then knowing the political hot potato it is, inform the President that it happened and the aggressive measures taken stop it along with the controls put in place to see it can't happen again.

Then he, at a time and place of his own choosing, makes a serious announcement telling of this terrible thing. But ends on a high note about the masterful leadership demonstrated by putting an end to this rogue operation and his earnest efforts to make it right for those abused.

Okay, it would all be BS, but think of how well he could have played the IRS scandal if there wasn't dirty links close to Obama?

My o my you folks are missing the link--the connection--the tie that binds! Chicago has always had a criminal "take it the hard way " mindset! From the moment the required the stock yards to be in Chicago to the moment they built the automated slot machines and the automated voting machines, to the moment Obama stepped into the white house.

You have in today's posting an article about how Muslim mothers rear up criminal sons. Well, let me tell you--Chicago mothers have been doing the same thing since 1870!

Sears is failing because people like me never, ever saw that service and caring for the customer. What we saw 40 years ago was Sears caring more about it's relationship with American Express financial services than with it's customers! If you were a month late with a payment they were brutal! You could call them and you could sent them partial payments and they made you feel like some kind of animal! NOPE it has nothing to with online purchasing--it had to deal with greed and cruelty. Those people in Chicago will destroy this country yet with their mafia and mafia business model. Haven't been in one of their stores since 1975! I see no difference between the Muslims taking over Stockholm and England the Chicago mafia taking over the US--both use brute force and will require more courage than we have as individuals or collectively to shut them down.

When Kmart bought Sears it was a dead company. Haven't been in one, or a mall, which they often anchor at, for that matter, in years. Their business model is no longer applicable in today's world.

I am trying to think of things I don't buy on-line. I don't buy food on-line. And I would want to check out a major piece of furniture, like a sofa, to make sure it was comfortable. Oh, and I like to buy my cell phones at a store, so the guy can help me pick.

Clothes, toiletries and cosmetics, softgoods for the house, jewelry, all presents, books, media, pet supplies, etc -- I never go to stores for any of them.

Except for food, i probably go into any store at all once a month.

Sears: I used to have a Sears card. I think I got rid of it in the late '70s. My local Sears is a small-town outlet. Don't go there much.

Re: migrants from violent cultures, anyone else remember the Korean grocers portecting their stores during the LA riots or this Daily Mail article about the London riots? Frequentily they seem more interested in defending their new home than the multi-generational inhabitants.

With that said, there is a European wide problem with Somali refugees resettled under a UN program not wanting to set roots yet not wanting to return home either while the government dithers.
