We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

The Chicago Way

For some reason, these guys never followed up on all the stories about Obama hanging out in gay bars in Chicago. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Well, does it surprise you? The perfect combination of hear, speak, see no evil - he's black, he's gay or maybe bi-sexual (not that there's anything wrong with that) and/or Michelle is his beard (not that there is anything wrong with that).

Look at it this way. The liberal, highly networked MSM was going to go all out for an African American regardless of his prior experience, capability or grandiose over blown sense of self as the final arbiter of all things good. And they did.

Now they found out that instead of buying a Lamborghini, what they bought was the body of a Lamborghini sitting on the chassis of a clapped out, rusty, falling apart, ,riddled with shrapnel holes WWII Jeep powered by a Model T engine.

Eventually it had to fall apart, you, me, BD, TB and even that guy in the Keys, Doc something or other saw it coming - it was just a matter of time. They aren't going to be able to save him this time.

What worries me though is the fact that the President isn't capable of recognizing his own frailties. And that could lead to real trouble.

He'll be saved, and without that much trouble. It is way too late in the process of this country being destroyed, for any of the last few weeks events to have any effect whatsoever. By effects I mean those who placed this worthless being in office to begin with would certainly vote him in for a third term, if possible. It is too late. It is too deep. It is over.

Do the best that you can for those close to you, grandkids, great grandkids, of tribe and blood. There may be distant hope there.

Can there be any doubt that Obama is a racist? For twenty years he attended an overtly racist "church", headed by a blatantly racist pastor, "Reverend" J. Wright.

Obama has never repudiated Wright's racist, America-hating views. Thus, everything Obama claims is psychological projection: imputing his own racism onto others.

Obama got to where he is using racism: pitting one group against another in the tribal wars he instigates. He should heed the fate of Robespierre, who was riding high for a long time, until people got sick and tired of his incessant rabble-rousing.

Hey, a good story for an enterprising reporter.

How about trucking on up to Chicago to get the man on the street's view of the IRS's actions and perhaps even the AP phone records story?

I'd expect they'd just wonder what all the fuss is about. That it was just the way things were done by politicians and their minions in the bureaucracy.

Of course, the average citizen might be rightfully wary of commenting and the reporter could end up in some new infrastructure construction. It's the Chicago way.
