How boring is the topic of the sequester?

Does anybody outside of DC care? Not likely. Taxing and spending is all they know how to do, and most of us are sick of that by now.

After all, these are not particularly intelligent or creative people but they have figured out how to keep their jobs. That's something - keeping a job.

It's kind of amusing to listen to people freak out about the idea of slowing the rate of government growth.

We are following Western Europe's path. The politicians are so desperate for money to keep their client voters, that they will reduce our military to a hollow, empty shell to keep the "entitlements" flowing. While simultaneously whipping the people to clamor for more money from the filthy undeserving rich.

The sequester is ***exactly*** what both the (R)s and (D)s want to happen. Which is why it will happen. With the biggest cuts to fall on the Constitutional duties of the government.

It is a desperate scramble for money to keep the con going. And you all voted for these guys. Doesn't matter whether they are (R) or (D), they are all grifters, and you all are addicted to taking money out of your rich undeserving neighbor's pocket, and putting it in yours and your friends.

Sequester would likely impact me a great deal...but I'm all for it. The gov't needs to be trimmed back. Sequester isn't near enough, but it's a start.

The fear-mongering, and outright extortion, being done by the state is disgusting. It's racketeering.
