Hanukkah Candles on Christmas Eve
As we light the candles in church on Christmas eve, we recite "Come, Lord, dispel my darkness" as each candle is lit and as each sin of the spirit is confessed. Those without dark corners of the soul need not attend. The upside is that you get to sing all of the carols. In church, you get the carols just one night each year - unlike in the dentist's office and the mall where you hear cheesy versions of them for a month.
