Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

My wife often acts as 'bird dog' when we are out.

"Would you look at the horns on that goat."

She knows that I look, I know that she knows, she knows that I know that she knows. She doesn't mind.

We've only been married for 40 years, so it may not work out long-term. But so far, so good.

Ha! Funny! I live in Vegas & my husband and my's favorite casino game is "real or fake". I know with utter certainty he would never find anyone else like me...even though there are those extra 10 pounds and wrinkles that go with being 55. After all these years we still utterly adore each other and viewing the beauty of youth is not a threat...nor has it ever been...humor & intelligence are wonderful qualities and never die.
