"A discussion of the "Where's Mine?" mentality is overdue"

That's what Lucianne said re Romney's fund-raiser talk.

Seems non-controversial to me. When he said "I'm not going to worry about those people" he was referring to getting their votes, with the implication that they are already bought. (I think he is wrong about that, BTW.)

Moral of the story? Never say anything that, when taken out of context, sounds bad. Of course, that is impossible to do. And for the MSM, everything Conservatives say is a gaffe.

Also, The Democrats think Romney just self-destructed by pointing out, um, THEIR ENTIRE STRATEGY

At Drudge, as of now, 1 in 16 Americans are taking Disability. If 1/16th of America is really disabled to work, we're in big trouble. And what % use EBT cards now?

1/16 is 6.7% !% is serious mental illness, another 1% has developmental delays. (There are serious qualifiers to those numbers, I know, but just as a rough number.) I don't know the numbers for below-the-neck disabilities.

EBT, you mean Food Stamps/SNAP? according to the USDA in June 2012, , about 46 million at a cost of around $6 billion, somewhere around an 1/8th of the population.

Gallup this afternoon: "Mitt Romney receives the vote support of about a third of those whose household incomes are less than $24,000 a year and of more than four in 10 seniors with low incomes -- all groups who are among the least likely to pay income taxes."

Aren't we ALL forgetting that the Income Tax was -- originally -- to be ONLY due from the MEGA wealthy -- like Ford and the Cabots?

THEN the government dropped the tax bomb on everyone to finance WWII.

Now that the war is over -- and the cold war, too -- the push should be on the roll this tax way, way back.

Cain was on to something.
