We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Go to your childrens or grandchildren's schools and count the classrooms then count the teachers on staff. I did it and my child's middle school had 12 classroms and 18 teachers. That means during any period of class 1/3rd the teachers aren't working. Not only that but each class had one or two teachers aides. Does anyone remember when a teacher was able to teach the entire class without needing a "aide"?

Now, wait, all these teachers must be great. They can't be merely good or effective. Perhaps he should have been more precise and said we needed 100,000 new Woebegone teachers.

Most must have PhDs so they can experiment on the kids rather than be run of the mill journeymen teachers who can do the job unsupervised.

freedom, market, in term two.

broken Dollar empty stores
starving dogs let slip for wars
western civ all burnt to embers
no one left but Party Members.
