Here is my advice:
1. During the inauguration immediately after taking the oath and shaking the chief justice's hand turn to an aide and sign a presidential order placing our military on the Southern Border.
2. Actively seek out the millions of people here illegally sucking off the taxpayer and deport them within 24 hours.
3. Sign a presidential order to stop all legal immigration until two things have happened: A) All prior immigrants have acclimated themselves to our language and culture. B) We hold a nationwide vote and let the citizens decide if we really need immigration since we are the 3rd largest population country in the world and can barely afford the cost of the immigrants we already have.
4. Reform welfare and replace the 2400 various federal programs with "workfare" where anyone needing welfare/assistance can work 40 hours a week for minimum wage.

I think protecting our borders is the highest responsibility of our military and our government. I would not like to see the military used for public works. However I do believe that welfare recipients should pay it back by spending 40 hours a week on public works. As a minimum to collect any form of welfare the recipient should work 40 hours a week to earn it.
