Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Back when Glenn Beck was still on Fox, and about midway through his multi-show expose of the affairs of George Soros, as Beck told it on his show, he got a phone call wanting a meeting --from a couple of Soros agents. Beck met with them, and relates that they had little to say other than that ''the ship has already left the dock" but did give him a copy of a movie, and said that the boss really wanted Beck to watch it closely. "A Face in the Crowd" was that movie.

I can't remember what i had for breakfast --did i have breakfast? --but those obscura stick to me like pancake-batter-covered Tralfamadorians.

Allow me --Beck was telling the story that Soros reacted to Beck's attention by sending him a copy of the movie where Andy Griffith played a Beck-like character who rose to stardom and power because he could attract ordinary folk, but whose power to do that eventually corrupted and ruined him (the character in the film).

Soros was telling Beck that Beck was like that character Andy Griffith played in the movie. Not like Andy --like the character Andy played.

And as Soros is a danger to USA in particular, Canada hosts the evil twin Maurice Strong.

It's a tribute to both nations, that they grit their teeth and follow their laws, and let these choatic subsystems spawn in the spaces freedom and liberty must let be, or else be not freedom and liberty at all.

How ironic that griffith actually lived the part. Lured the people in with his good ol' boy act, then sold the country down the river at the behest of obama.
