We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
I don't get the adoration of all things Dylan. Since we can't vote our way out of the problems we created Nature will take it's course and thin the herd. Nature will put on us that which we refuse to do. She will not approach the solution in the way we expect or desire, remember Nature's idea of a garden is Yosemite Park, not our little rose garden.
Really, #1 & #3... Its art guys, if you don't have something nice to say don't just sit back and shit all over it. Cause your not just shitting on Bob and those of us who like him, your also shitting on the person who thought it would make a nice post here on "Maggie's Farm". BTW thanks for posting I thought it was a great song and I had not heard it before.

I saw "The Last Waltz" for the first time last night...surprised that I'd never even heard about it before then. Yes, I have been living under a rock...a sturdy hunk of basalt, to be precise.
