Why not send Gov. Scott Walker a few bucks?

Few politicians have had the cojones to push back against the government unions who seem to believe that they own the government.

Walker did. Government unions nationwide are pouring so much money into his recall election that Obama's team is complaining that there isn't enough left for him.

The election is on June 5.

Send Gov. Scott Walker a few bucks. I did.

I would be more than happy to give Walker $$, but 1) they demand too much personal info, and 2) every time I have done this lately, the recipient gives (or maybe sells) my personal info to every Republican candidate and organization for the next five years, and I get spammed to death by phone, email and snail mail. I'm not giving $$ any more because of this.

You can send a money order from 7-11 if you're worried about getting on a mailing list. Or just send a check, and throw away junk mail with the rest of the junk mail.

Walker needs help. This is important, and this June election will affect the November election.

BillH is right. I donated to Walker a few weeks ago and now I get a couple of messages daily about him - plus messages about other issues & candidates.

They need to manage their mail list privacy a lot better.

Should have read this first. The most irritating thing about contributing to politics is that they never leave you alone. I've donated to multiple causes and politicians and political parties are by far the worse. I give to others and they're happy to hear from you a year later, after asking once or twice. Pols want money, seemingly almost daily.
If you never hear from me again, it's because the wife answered the phone once too often from Walker.... :)
