Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Does Harvard recruit for students who need remedial sex ed?

And, as college students, shouldn't they be able to figure some things out for themselves. Come on, freedom of thought, scientific inquiry, have these left the academy.

On the other hand, a lot of Harvard grads go into politics or become high priced lawyers who are always trying to screw the public, perhaps a bit of formal education on the matter would redirect their efforts in a more appropriate direction.

@NAACP leader - well, duh... Its what keeps the 'Rev$' in business. Without them stirring up the outhouse, they'd have to do something more tangible for revenue.

Maybe Limbaugh was right in calling them 'The Ju$tice Brother$'...

Obama can make that comment because he knows the election is over--the outcome has already been decided and arranged.

You all who care about this little detail of our collective life should turn now--go back to your state legislature and demand to remove the mail in ballot for residents. In the old days when we tried to run honest elections mail-in ballots were only for those who were genuinely out of country or absent for long term from state, i.e military people. etc. Not for anyone too lazy to go down to the polling booth and vote. What you fools refused to see because you wanted to "cut costs" was that mail in voting opened the highway wide for Acorn and Obama and all who will corrupt our elections. Anyway, this year's election is already a done deed. That's why Obama's voice had that tonal quality of assurance--he knows the outcome already!

Don't know where to post this, but Drudge shows a story about the casting of a new film about Ronald Reagan [Lord protect us from biased reports] that the role of Nancy Reagan is going to be played by, of all people, that traitor Jane Fonda. We must never forget her betrayal of American soldiers being held hostage, when she was secretly given a note from the American hostages, which she promptly turned over to the enemy. She has busily tried to destroy our memories of her betrayal by doing comedy roles and workout videos and other unimportant things. But i can't forget that. And I hope you all won't forget it either.

A betrayal like that never grows old.

Dear MM: Thought you would like to hear about this actual event that took place in Montana about 30 years ago. Ted Turner and his new bride were driving around the state (of course along with body guards, etc.). They were looking for a "ranch" to buy. Pulled into a small little roadside village and stopped to eat at the only cafe. The owner of the cafe was also the cook. He walked up to their booth with one glass of water, one menu, one silverware set up. He placed these things in front of Ted and said as he laid down the silverware: "you can stay--but, that bitch doesn't eat here!" I guess they forgot that MT has always given up most men to the military per capita than any other state. The chef/owner was "in country" vet.

All-but-open planning of ballot fraud --i hope somebody is doing something to stop it, because it is launched and coming at us.

--could well be that if 2012 cooks over with this stuff, that will be that for the old system.

The left wins if it wins the election, the left wins if ballot fraud starts a breakdown of law and order, or even civil war, and the govt and the dollar collapse.

The right is faced with allowing the fraud simply to avoid the riot. The 'criminal's advantage' is the warp and woof of communism.

The Dems have been stealing elections in this country from time immemorial. It's their "house advantage". How do you think John Kennedy became president? Whether it's dispensing "walking around money" or paying off in "Obama bucks" or busing the dead folks in from Gary IND to vote in Chicago IL and Milwaukee and Madison WI, the Dems will use the tried-and-true methods they have always used to steal elections. They're just updating their illegal tactics of voter fraud to fit the new millennium.
