Bird Dog: Coincidentally, the ongoing trial of Shawn Tyson for the cold-blooded murder of two British tourists in Sarasota provides plenty of ground for outrage and “soul-searching,” but you probably haven’t heard much about it.

The difference is that Shawn Tyson was charged and is being tried. There has been no arrest in the Trayvon Martin case.

There is a distinction between conservative and right wing. While conservatives are on the right, right wing encompasses a wider range of views, up to and including reactionism.

When the Rush condom eruption happened I said there would be more such events. Total synchronization between the Obama re-election team and the media, with a few agitators thrown in for good measure.

What do we have here besides another such event? You really think he won't get another term at this rate? I predicted an availability or such events that easily matches need. Did this shooting rise on its own merits to seize the headlines? No. It was pushed.

There will be more. Each one cementing the victim state to the president ever more tightly.

I shut the talk of this down at the office when I reminded all the liberal white women that black teens and felons gun each other down by the thousands each year and nobody wants to elect a president over it. That too many players had too much to gain from the death of this young boy, and isn't that pretty sick?

Living in a small town in MA, and frequently visiting our local Bass Pro Shop, I can tell you that the gun department in that store gives out numbers to the people standing in line trying to buy guns and ammo. The salespeople claim that since november of 2008, the stuff has been flying off the shelves....in MA, no less!
Wonder if the gun sales will translate into votes in the next election?

Isn't this the same as putting out a contract on someone's life and isn't that illegal?

Oh wait. Holder has their back.

Allowing one group to operate lawlessly at the expense of others will not end well, but perhaps that is the plan?

Re Obama and Israel, i do believe that this president has broken all new ground in distancing rhetoric from reality. Culminating in "we've got your back" being perfectly technically true in informing a target that he is surrounded now on not most but all sides.

Whaddaya mean remember when? According to the media narrative, they are still Bush's fault! Remarkable consistency when you adopt the correct frame of reference.
