We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

The Story of Obama and Israel

The Obama worldview based upon retreat from engagement from confrontation with sworn, active enemies of the West and apologies for past resistance has proven time and again to be both fruitless and has increased dangers. This is starkly evident in President Obama and his administration badgering and undermining Israel while turning the other cheek to Palestinian and Arab and Moslem outrageous behavior. This video ably sums up the first three years of the Obama administration's policies with respect to Israel.

His Administration has "always been there" for Israel? 1967 borders, no building of housing...

And on Iran, still blaming Bush. That might work for a year, but not so much for three.

This is like his mentioning that US oil wells have increased production over the last three years, implying this Administration accomplished this, while not mentioning the increases is from wells approved before he took office - hey, why not blame Bush for that, too!

It's plainly clear that O is emulating the extremely successful El Baredi stratagem of protecting the mullah bomb by occupying the desk responsible for preventing it. Whether El Baredi at UN or Obama at USA, the higher the stakes at every turn, the hotter the false anti-bomb (now indistinguishable from pro-Israel) rhetoric. El Baredi, now retired from UN to co-opt the anti-Muslim Brotherhood faction of post-Mubarek (now indistinguishable from anti-Israel) Egypt, did his job well, and then passed the baton to our president.

PS, IOW, both sets of rhetoric are loaded with the detailia that normally identifies a search for truth. Chunks of detail are chewable and must be chewed. Time is always needed for all the chewing.

And surely the strong rhetoric will buy time for all that chewing. Right? After all, the rhetoric is so clear. Right?

But has any of the rhetoric ever yet bought any time? Yes and No. No, not for the mullahs' targets, but yes, every time it has been deployed, yes, it has bought time --for the mullahs' bomb.

So, isn't the rhetoric a weapon being deployed against Israel, USA, and the west? I can't see any way that it's not.
