We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Interesting tidbit about the guitar Fogerty is using. It's a custom Fender Telecaster that was fitted with a Stratocaster humbucker middle pickup in the bridge position. That is what creates that unique sound.

Strangely, he also uses a Fender Stratocaster fitted with two Telecaster Deluxe Humbuckers tuned to produce the same sound.

Go figure.

Trivia (if that wasn't trivia enough): Fogerty was the first person to ever use Seymour Duncan amplifiers. Duncan is a famous maker of tuned electric guitar pickups. His amplifiers never caught on, but if you can find one today in working condition, prepare to pay a LOT of money for one.
