Driving around today I heard this cut from Adele and had to crank up the sounds, almost to Rolling Stones decibels. It's a driving tempo, and if you remember "high" road trips it is driving music.

I'd heard it, though different venue. What a set of pipes that lady has, touches the soul it does, driving or idle.

A good age for pipes, and anguish. Lets hope she appreciates, nurtures, and finds her soul through that voice. Selfishly spoken of course.

Never had a "high" road trip - drove one time from Mobile, AL to Baton Rouge, LA after attending a wedding and I still don't remember one single second of it. :>)

Yeah, she's phenomenal. Been having some problems with her vocal chords, however. She had to cancel some tour dates. Love that song, in any case.

Kind of music where you don;t realize you've pushed it up to 87 mph.

With you on that, Bird Dog. Crank it up, tap your foot to the beat and 87 is easy to achieve. Got to be careful with the sway on the steering wheel though.

(Same thing happens when I put either Charlie Daniels or ZZ Top in the CD player.)

Gretchen Wilson has some good pipes too...
