Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Christianity with balls

But it's Ann Barnhardt, a gutsy gal. She says:


You show me a Christian who is antisemitic. I'll show you a Christian who is clueless about his faith.


This is fascinating. She is humorous, too - and just a teensy bit provocative. Yes, she burns the Koran too. What do I think about it?. As we say up here in Yankeeland, "She's a piece of work."

Sounds like she wants the USA to officially declare war on Islam. Wouldn’t it be cheaper to let Moslem nations fall to democracy naturally, which seems inevitable considering how many disenchanted youth they’re producing.

And it's not sufficient to say it's only the radicals that have declared war. The Islamic moderates will not resist and discipline their radicals, because the radicals have the unalterable word of Allah on their side.

Sometimes even though you aren't looking for war, war sometimes finds you.

How about we just take a couple of logical early steps?

1. Stop letting Muslims into the U.S.
2. Stop supporting the Muslim Brotherhood sponsored revolutions.
3. Allow honesty about Islam and protect those who are threatened by Muslims.

They can only beat us if we let them - the way Europe has.

Moslem nations are most decidedly NOT interested in Democracy. What they want is whoever is making their lives miserable to stop but are so ignorant and uneducated that they quite willingly will follow another despot who will treat them just the same and so on and so on.

Some may not care for her way of expressing her points but there is to much truth in what she says for me to shrug it off. I have studied some on Muslims and the Quran and those that do not remember the USSR, Communism and the Nazis would do well to grab some books and learn about them. It would be best to do that research soon though. At the rate the revisionists are reworking the history books you may not be able to find out what you need if you put it off to long.

I’m not Ron Paulian, not by a long shot. But his comments on blowback get me thinking. The Nazis attack on the USSR was disastrous for them, but the USSRs own unarmed citizens broke the Iron Curtain apart quite easily. With the aid of a few well calculated pushes from the USA? Yeah, probably.

Iran’s in the same boat, methinks. Attack em and every Persian and their goat will fight the common enemy. But do “X” and they’ll toss out their suicidal mullahs.

I watched this series with interest, and took a while to ruminate...

Yes, Ms. Barnhardt is "a piece of work," for sure! But I like her, and her perspective, a lot.

Complaints on my part? Sure... when are there not?

Not enough clarification, or maybe too much Catholicism, regarding the Lord's table. It is figurative, people, and nothing else. The bread and wine most definitely do not become the actual body and blood of Jesus.

And we also need to emphasize more clearly that (Romans 2:28-29) "He is not a Jew which is one outwardly... but he is a Jew which is one inwardly..."

We are the chosen people, my friends. The physical/earthly representation of God's people were the Jews. The spiritual fulfillment is in being born again, as a Christian.
