Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

U.S. forces searched the compound and flew away with documents, hard drives and DVDs that could provide valuable intelligence about al-Qaida, a U.S. official said. The entire operation took about 40 minutes, officials said.



It sure would be interesting to be on the team which is reviewing those things.

More like 7.62 or 6.8 - the stopping power is far greater.

They might even have 10mm or .40 SMGs that would do a nasty job too.

As Mark Hemingway noted at The Washington Examiner, JSOC is the same organization that was vilified by that crackpot Seymour Hersh of The New Yorker as Dick Cheney's personal assassination squad. More journalistic chickens coming home to roost. Thank you very much George Bush and Dick Cheney. Mr. Obama couldn't have done any of this without you.

Damn fine job by the troops. To bad the "0" is taking all the credit. I have never heard a person speak with so many "I" "myself" and "me"s in my life when giving a speech.
