We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Are gentlemen into porn? Etc.

I can tell you that some certainly are, some could care less, and some find it an abomination.


Porn, recreational sex, prostitution, rape, illicit seduction, perversions, etc. have been going on since there have been humans. That's a fact. Humans are endowed with the wackiest sex drives and wackiest imaginations of all animals and, depending on conditions and circumstances, not always the most mature or honorable behavior.


But what about the ladies? A teen gal recently told me that somebody said to her, in the bathroom after a frat party, "I am so pissed that I didn't get any dick tonight." How times have changed. Or have they?

I'd rate women's porn more as MSM news than as the romance novels, myself.

Men's porn is aimed at getting rid of, for a time, an obsession that's wired in to the male brain and bothersome.

Which obsession, characterized as low standards, normally works to women's advantage. Most of them aren't great deals otherwise.

One fine evening in 1972 my fraternity was having a party. The first floor john was reserved for the ladies. One young lady commented rather loudly to the rest of the people in the john "Twenty feet of cock in this house and I can't get six inches!"

We had miked the john and were rolling tape. We gave her 5 minutes to get back upstairs, switched inputs from the tape deck on the 4th floor to the tape deck on the 1st floor (we had the whole house wired) and replayed the commentary over the main sound system. The young lady in question made a brief, loud and succinct comment and stomped out of the house.

An implication worth exploring: Are love and porn mutually exclusive? Or, does one interfere with the other?

In my experience, yes, they can interfere. And no, they are not exclusive. As with nearly everything, does it serve you or do you serve it?

Being a “slave to love” still makes one a slave.

There are, also, a handful of ladies who enjoy the women in male-oriented porn. God made many different kinds of people.

Gluttony and oil are my biggest vices, porn is way down in the pack. It does make a come back when I do my shower exercises. To much information Dr Joy sorry for being off track.
