We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Doing the job journalists won't do

From Larry Elder's The Donald Takes on Media's Love Affair With Obama:



...the real story about Trump isn't Trump.


It's the pass given Obama by the media. Whether it's regarding Obama's birthplace, whether Obama personally heard Wright's racist and anti-Semitic sermons, or whether unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers wrote Obama's first book, Obama manages to avoid careful examination from the adoring media.


Trump would not be relevant -- if the media had been.

It's self-defeating for Liberal journalists to ask Liberals tough questions. Indeed, the tough questions never really occur to them. Furthermore, asking Black Liberals tough questions is equivalent to racism.

As long as Trump doesn't run for President as all that would accomplish, other than feeding Trumps ego, is to be a spoiler and ensure that BHO has another four years to ruin this country.

We need someone with the cojones to take on Obama and his camp followers. So far no other GOP candidates seems to have them. Palin is a non-starter because of the obscene wilding the leftist press works on her. We need a "Street Fighting Man".

Ron Snyder ... You and I are in complete agreement about this. The minute I realized that this silly man thinks he can run for President and win, I'm reminded of all the other third party spoilers who have entered the Great Race and lost, leaving what had seemed to be a pretty clear choice a mess instead.

Donald Trump can do the job the journalists won't and he can do the job the Mudboy does not do to serve the US Constition and protect USA's citizens from enemies foreign and domestic.
