Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

If Moses Had Internet

The first seder ("order" of the prayers, recitation of the Exodus, and feast) of Passover begins tonight. Some find the printed "order" and its rituals long, especially when hungry. So, here's what the short version might have looked like, if Moses had the Internet.

How DO you attone? I realize this is the season for celebration--but, I am still wondering how it is that I, a non-Jew, can get the Jewish community to repay the damage they have done to my family? There is no lawyer that will take on this particular group of individuals in the law court. But, we desperately need to find someone who will help my family make them pay for they did deliberately and with malice of forethought. They destroyed an innocent man's career simply because he (we) could no longer afford to work for them for the rate they were paying. Simply because my husband was the originator of ideas this group desperately wanted to control. Do you know a Rabbi somewhere within your community who will help with this? Thank You--and rejoice!
