Bummer. I'll email you with some suggestions. In the meantime, don't do anything drastic. This might be a server issue, not a local issue.

As a voter who doesn't care for Romney or 0bama, I have a question for you.

Why do you give Romney a pass on Romneycare, and oppose 0bama on 0bamacare?

From my feeble minded point of view they are one in the same: Socialized medicine. From where I stand, any proponent of socialized medicine should be opposed, regardless of party affiliation.

Perhaps someone can enlighten me?

Romney was govenor of Mass, which is right next door to Maggie's, and it's impolite to be rude to neighbors.

That's one guess, anyway.

Also, Romney was the only politico who spoke up in protest when the former Iranian president spoke at Harvard, so that counts for something. Plus, he looks presidential as hell, right out of the JFK mold. On top of that, sources say he's a terrific 'family man', not letting success go to his head.

Also, I would hesitate to say "all forms of socialized medicine are bad", since bouncing from one extreme to the other rarely does any good. And RomneyCare, as I understand it, isn't quite in the same league as ObamaCare.

On the other hand, you're not alone. I couldn't find it just now, but I saw an article recently in one of the Washington (online) papers, I think, that said something like "GOP Not Forgiving Romney Just Yet", or words to that effect, speaking of RomneyCare. So it's obviously a serious impediment to filling the Republican slot in 2012.

Conversely, a number of people think Romney is the Repub's best chance for besting Obama in 2012. Palin certainly won't, nor will Ron Paul. Christy shows great promise, but hasn't declared he's interested yet, and he's probably too unknown and 'controversial' to take the election this time around. Tiger was wrong when he indicated that "unknown" doesn't seem to work against candidates anymore, referring to Obama, but it's not the same thing. Obama was unique, but the only 'unique' thing about a Christy election would be America electing it's first fat man president since Herbert Hoover. Not much of an accolade to hang one's hat on, as these things go.

OK. So if I understand you correctly, Romney gets a pass on Romneycare because it isn't as bad as 0bamacare. Sort of like saying prostate cancer isn't as bad as liver cancer perhaps?

Anyway, I am not ready to write off any potential GOP nom, including Romney. As I mentioned at TH's blog, rising food and fuel prices coupled with high unemployment could be substantial impediments to 0bama's re-election.

People opposing 0bama will have no choice but to coalesce around his opponent, so I think whomever wins the nod at least has a shot.

Saying our guy doesn't have a chance in the general election plays right into the hands of our political opponents.

2. Romney Care should serve as a warning that as governor he either could not foresee the financial consequences of his health care initiative, which suggests he is not as astute as I'd like to think, or that he is yet another self-serving political hack. No doubt he would look good standing behind the Presidential Seal, but would his eye be focused on his legacy rather than the public's business? Why not back Chris Christie, or Mitch Daniels, or Bobby Jindal, or any other successful state governor who is not a party hack?

However, i already headed there before it happens.

Missy Ann is tons of fun and often running baselines but she's way out in left field on this one.

Methinks, Mormitt won't be nominee unless Republicans want to lose.

Christie is a loser, too.

He is just too, too tight with Muslim brothers & hoods.

Besides, he said he'd keep his nasty in New Jersey.

I love Huckabee. He's much the most comfortable in his own skin.

In a two person race, the person who is the most comfortable in his own skin wins. Think about it. Obama was more comfortable in his own skin than McCain. Huckabee is more comfortable in his own skin than Obama. Game, set, win. There's a reason why Huckabee is leading in the polls. He would win.

How do you enslave an entire country that has the right to vote and constitutionally enforced rights???

You spend them into debt, massive debt, crushing debt that cannot ever be repaid. Thus all rational choices are ruled out and we MUST increase taxes and walk away from lifelong committments. It will be sold as "shared sacrifice" but make no mistake some will not share and some will even continue to benefit. When you decide to rob Peter to pay Paul you won't get any arguement from Paul.

Romney, Huckabee, Gingrich, Trump and so on are not going to get US out of the trouble that we are in. They will continue with the same blather that has been foisted on American citizens for 40 years. Inside they are no different than Gore or Obama.

Why is it that Ron Paul is so roundly put down by even Fox news? Because in their gut they know that he would make the right decisions and no one in power wants that to happen. Also we know that the only way he can win is if God changes the hearts of men in America so that they vote for the right candidate rather than the one they think has a chance of winning.

Romney had to be a moderate to govern MA. He had his time there - good for him.

But this isn't the year to run a Rino. A Romney nomination doesn't just lose the election for the GOP - it destroys the party.

Actual conservatives like me will give up on the Republicans party and simply go form a Conservative Party. There are lots of good choices who aren't Romney - Jindal, DeMint, Daniels, etc...
