Water, Water Everywhere but Hardly a Drop for Farmers

That article needs to be updated. The original decision by Judge Oliver Wanger created an over reaction by the US Fish and Wildlife Service to divert the water from farming to the delta for the smelt and only for a certain period of time - specifically December to June. The US-F&W went way beyond the intent of the original decision by Judge Wanger from a manageable percentage of diversion to the delta to a 70% reduction in available water for farming and residential use.

In December of 2010, Judge Wenger revisited this (another suit naturally) and is requiring the US-F&WL service to modify and adjust their water plans.

The issue is much more complex than water itself. The smelt war article does a great job of updating the original story with great background.

OMG !! What the h___ are we so excited about you fools? So, the FBI finally, finally, finally (after 40 years of murder and mayhem) our FBI finally goes out and arrest a bunch of really old farts! You know the ones--the ones who lost control of their network several years ago. The old guys from whom the younger mobster took away the power. Sooo, what we have here is the FBI rounding up a bunch of old guys, while the really bad guys (mid 40's and graduates of ivy league schools), who have already assumed control are still out there doing their thing--mayhem. While we the citizens of US now have to house the old guys. Sheesh! Get a grip.

The arrest of the Mob guys was done to divert our attention away from the Biggest Mafia of Them All, the Real Godfather of Corruption, Barrack Obama and his gang of thieves.

I was reading today about how the Boeing contracts being touted as a big deal, the ones China signed with us, are actually OLD and will not lead to any new business with China. And 1000 Boeing workers were laid off the next day after Hu and Obama swilled down $200/bottle wine.

Then, today, it's announced that Immelt of GE, another of the Mob underneath Obama, will be on a team to try to make us "more competitive". This from the parent company that gave us MSNBC, which even for the corrupt media is beyond the pale and in the toilet rating-wise; maybe Immelt could first figure out how to make THAT competitive.

What the HELL does Jeff Immelt know about small business? This is just another attempt to keep the wealth stolen from the rest of us, among the TBTf companies and banks.

After the near-trillion-dollar bailout, I had a scene running in my head, of the Mob bosses, the ones that were arrested, bitching and whining with pure envy over the amounts that the O admin was lifting from the rest, and done under the guise of legality. THE PERFECT SCAM. Made what they do to make a few bucks here and there look like LESS than chicken feed.

Methinks, she must be politicly ambidextrous.

Is that kinda like centrist, me muses.

She peace signs with right hand and scribbles political revelations on her left.

Maybe, she is physically right handed but maybe ambitextrous.

NO level of government should be doing most of what the writer tells us that SF, Seattle, New York and DC are doing. Let those who believe composting is good tell me what they want, let me decide. There's a novel concept. If only there were some voices from America's past that spoke for individual liberty and responsibility.

Yup, the mostly elderly mobsters were arrested, as the news says, via a tipster program operating inside the mob. The crimes charged go back as far as 30 years.

What we are seeing is the FBI clearing away some underbrush for the administration's friends. the actual operating mob simply used the government to clean up the flow charts.
