�Climate change � to deny it exists, to just put your head in the sand and, �oh no, it doesn�t exist, what are you talking about,� is about like standing on the floor of Macy�s during the month of December and claiming Santa Claus doesn�t exist."

Junkie, my friend ... Sensible folks, like Maggiesfarmers, don't deny that climate change exists. They just deny that CO2 is the driver of it.

The earth, after all, is a living organism. It changes from year to year. As Jules Crittenden memorably said, "The earth gets warmer, the earth gets colder, and nobody quite knows why." Well, actually some distinguished scientists feel that they have a handle on it. Thirty-one thousand of them signed a Declaration about it, saying that CO2 wasn't the Big Old Boogyman behind it. But Al Gore and his merry minions can't let that sensible attitude prevail. There's too much money out there tied up in the disaster scenario.

So we'll continue to watch the slow train wreck.

Climate change has existed as long as the planet earth has been. What blows me away is the audacity of all those warmists who state that it is caused by and can be controlled by man. Talk about delusions of grandeur. The sooner those loony tunes are put to the background to be ignored the sooner commerce and industry will rebound because they will no longer have the warmer`s nonsensical whims,rules and unfair taxes to hold them back.

There are some good laws regarding pollution etc keep enforcing them to keep our environment safe but all that stuff stopping development of resources and industry should be thrown out. Who knows the US might even come close to being self sufficient in energy if it is allowed to explore for and develop it.

If thing keep on as they have for the last 30 years the USA will end up being a 3rd world country.

Ironically, it is the globull warming alarmists who deny climate change happens...
They believe fervently that the climate has always been "stable", unchanging, until some point in the 1980s when suddenly "man made carbondioxide levels" reached a point where "catastrophic change" set in, and that, if only the world reverts to a pre-industrial society and technology that never changing state of bliss will magically return.

Those they call "deniers" however know all that to be bullshit, know that the climate is in constant flux whether we like it or not and that human action has no known effect on that that's larger than anything that happens through natural causes, in other words that any human influence is completely dwarved by changes that are happening anyway.

God is an elderly or, at any rate, middle-aged male, a stern fellow, patriarchal rather than paternal and a great believer in rules and regulations. Santa Claus is another matter. He's cute. He's nonthreatening. He's always cheerful. And he loves animals. He may know who's been naughty and who's been nice, but he never does anything about it. He gives everyone everything they want without thought of a quid pro quo. He works hard for charities, and he's famously generous to the poor. Santa Claus is preferable to God in every way but one: There is no such thing as Santa Claus."
