We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
This song did the 'earwig' to me last night --i listened to it about fifteen times. Hypnotized, in fact. it opened up that (thank goodness almost always closed else we'd be asylum-bound) sound-channel out to the edge of unbearably beautiful.
--trying to find the name of the group, seems to be the (in Russian) 'Don Kosack Chor'.
I was thinking, ok, it's a guy named Don Kosack and his choir.
But there's an entire ethnic people from the Don River basin, it appears, which includes the well-known Cossacks. So the name could be a description, like 'the Louisiana Cajun Choir' would be --except this is the 'Don (river) Cossack choir'.
