Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

2010 Election Anthem

Krista Branch should be made the official songstress of the Republican Party for 2010, and then the Republican establishment better take heed or face the consequences of an aroused America that won't take any more BS.

I agree. Wonderful song. Loved the sign in the video about inalienable rights. Time to take back America from the corruptocrats of either party, and hold our politicians accountable for the grave damage they are causing us.

Beautiful voice, beautiful tune and loved that the lyrics were shown. I'd LOVE to see this song adopted by the GOP, but I hope the Republicans GET IT; it's not going to be business-as-usual for them either, we need a real sea change in the way our politicians act.

Also loved that the Gasden flag is prominent in the first shot of the Tea Party gathering.
