Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Obama is the Democrat's "House Servant." He's so conditioned to bowing to his masters that he instinctively does it even at the wrong times.

Our present President came to the White House, not even knowing how to salute the troops correctly. Apparently his mother and grandmother were so busy with 'other things' that they failed to teach him proper manners, and the way a freedom-loving American shows due deference, as Ronald Reagan and many other of our President did, with a courteous nod, not a bent back.

no problem, Christie will be termed to be unfit to hold public office by the Obamacare job and life panel because he's morbidly obese and forced to retire to a reeducation camp where his condition will be taken care of through a strict diet of 200 calories a day in combination with hard labour.

I've been appalled by other instances of Obama's bowing down but, without seeing video, I'm going to call this as more doubling over with laughter. "Bowing" just doesn't seem to fit the moment here.
