Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Put a couple of these
around my house and
we'd have venison to feed
the multitudes.

And plenty of raccoon, too, which, if marinated properly, is great on the grill if you can conjure up the right red-neck attitude. Plenty of rosemary and garlic.

The only thing more
effective would be a couple
of signs saying: "Protected
by Automatic Sentry Firearms."

Israel could use a few thousand of these, along their border. A good border perimeter tool.

Looks like a right handy gadget to me.

We used to par boil and slow roast our racoons. They came out pretty tender. Instead of beef and noodles, I remember sitting down on a chilly fall evening to a warm, hearty dish of racoon and noodles.

We tried it with possums, but they were to greasy.
