Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Listening to God

Anchoress. Is it God speaking, or is it just me? I often wonder about that.

I on the other hand am not unwilling. This is about being a child before God and implicit in that is a willingness to learn and discover as well as to make mistakes.

It seems to me God has used this blog and other influences to remind me to "listen" to Him. Is it God speaking, or is it just me? I've wondered about that as well, but the feeling I get when I spend time listening to God is well worth the effort. I feel loved and accepted in a way that rocks my world.
