We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
you're right--BD --graphics behind movie credits of the era --trying to think of one --'Pink Panther' isn't quite it --maybe one of those 'American in Europe' audrey hepburn-ish films.
Here's a neat thingie --for Norman Rockwell fans --paintings, and the photo-models used for same --
Kandinsky was never my favorite, but he was a pro. Dylan's style doesn't have the look of a confident, accomplished painter. It's more tentative and timid - like a beginning painter, and a young one at that. I've taught art in the past, so I have some experience. If anyone pays real money for a Dylan painting, they are doing it for the novelty of it, not because he is a talented painter. Like I said, Dylan should stick to what he knows - music. He is one of the truly great songwriters of our times.
